Spending time with someone can feel different. I recall a time when I was in a group with a totally different person, I had no clue what to say or what to do. I really was a stereotypical kind of guy before, I would judge a book by its cover. Well this person ended up being one of my best friends, and although we have different views we never oppose one's thought on another. We actually are pretty similar and I enjoy being around them.
We often learn new things about a group when we have some exposure to that group. Our preconceptions may be totally accurate or completely off base. you can not judge a book by its cover.
ReplyDeletewow thats what happened to me too sometimes in high school i a judged many students and later we were just the best budies ever
ReplyDeleteOne thing to think of is that if you would have judged this person before you knew them, you might have never had this person as a friend. Goes to show that judging others can also hurt you.
ReplyDeleteIt is True that we should not judge a book by its cover, I remember as a time that I hade a similar problem. I was judging a person that now is one of my finest friends; well actually I had to be with this person for a month, I was afraid of many tings as it was a different experience. But now we became good friend.
ReplyDeleteI really love situations like this where one is rewarded with a good friendship because they were daring enough to approach the unexpected. Good job :)
ReplyDeleteI know many people that goes through the same situation and it's great that you both became friends:)
