Group Purposes!

I believe that groups help people feel needed. They help some find friends, and help some find a meaning in life.  Groups can leave a great impact on many. As a matter fact I don't know where I would be with out my group. It's like a second family, to me it is another home.

  1. I think groups are important in life too and they do help find friends. Like with us and football.

  4. Groups are a manifestation of humanity’s intrinsic need for companionship. The English poet John Donne said, "No man is an island unto himself". I believe this sums it up nicely.

  5. Groups are a way to feel acceptance a sense of belonging.I believe this instinctual need for acceptance is a result of evolutionary factors. Large groups of humans offered it's members more security than a lone individual.

  6. I completely agree with you we might need another group not just the family. Yes, family gives everything you can have but we need of others.

  7. I agree, everyone likes to feel like they belong. Its only natural. If humans did not connect with other humans we wouldn't develop as a whole.

  8. I've read many peoples' blogs about this topic, but I consider yours to be be a very understandable reason why groups have a purpose, especially when it comes to the reason in why others want to belong in it. Great post.

  9. I absolutely agree with you. We even join groups to have a family that many of us do not have. For many people its a second family and for many others it is their family.
